The Legacy of Walter Rodney Mass Call

This year, Black Men Build has centered part of our political education around Walter Rodney’s seminal text, The Groundings with My Brothers. Across our hubs, we’ve studied this work to deepen our understanding of collective struggle and apply its lessons to our present-day men’s circles—spaces where we hold our own groundings with each other.
